Yonex EZONE is back for an 8th generation that improves the overall comfort and power; this 98 variant is a softer-feeling players racquet suitable for intermediate to advanced players looking to dominate with controllable power and comfort.

At 98 square inches, the slightly smaller than average head size will provide a higher degree of control by way of a tighter pocket that is useful to players looking for precision in their play. Its open string pattern should allow players increased access to spin and power. The weight, being above average, should provide players with stability and the ability to generate powerful swings. The balance is head light which keeps the racquet fast and maneuverable even considering its heavier weight - great for faster cuts at the ball to improve spin and volleys.

On the technology side for the 8th generation of EZONEs, Yonex has improved on their ISOMETRIC technology by altering the frame at key areas to further increase the size of the sweet spot for an increase of achievable power inside and around the sweet spot. Yonex has also integrated a new material, Minolon, in between the graphite plates of the shaft which has given the frame a more plush feel for improved comfort. Yonex's vibration controlling technology, VDM, is also present to help take the edge of errant shots.
